When choosing a car, I was mainly guided by my wife's opinion, since I bought it for her.

The requirements of a woman, you know, to like her outwardly. Actually, there was no choice at all, of course I threw a whole bunch of options, but we went to see the Nissan first, and it's red and even with a panoramic roof. I read the reviews, of course everyone writes that the variator for 100 thousand km will explode, fly apart, everything will be the end of it, but I can say for myself that my sister also had a Nissan Qashqai with a variator, sold with a mileage of 200 thousand. km and not a single complaint about the box, but the sister rides on the principle until it falls off.

For two years of operation, almost 40 thousand km were rolled on the Nissan Qashqai, this is certainly not a serious mileage, but it was possible to form some opinion. It feels like the car is comfortable behind the wheel, there is no driver component at all, there is not even a hint. Nissan Qashqai for a calm, measured ride, the steering wheel is quite wadded, there is a roll in good turns. The suspension is very soft, in winter I compare it with my BMW, just like on a down mattress. Ergonomically, in principle, everything is fine inside, but the lack of space for the phone and wallet was constantly annoying. I had to use cup holders and a bottomless pocket in the door card for these purposes, it's not very convenient. The glove compartment is large, a large niche for "everything in a row" is conveniently located in the armrest. By the way, about the armrest, it is quite comfortable, has the ability to adjust by departure, but not by height. Despite the fact that my wife is not tall and always rides in the upper position of the seat, she had to twist very much to put her hand on the armrest. According to the sound insulation, we can say that it is quite sufficient. The assembly is English, quite high-quality, there were practically no extraneous noises and crickets, but the rear arches need to be noise-insulated, it feels like there is not a gram of insulation at all, the slightest breath of wind in the rear arches came into the cabin.

If we talk about driving characteristics, then there is quite enough motor in a dense city, everything is also acceptable on the highway, but it is better to lay more stock before overtaking.

Fuel consumption in summer is 10.9 liters per 100 km, in winter about 12 liters. Measurements were carried out according to checks, if you take BC as a reference point, then a liter less. Their car, as a rule, was operated for short distances of no more than 15-25 km per trip (of these 25 km, as a rule, 50% of the traffic jams, 50% of the highway). We went for more or less long distances several times, to Kiev and back. Fuel consumption on the highway at an average speed of 120 km / h is about 8 liters. If you drive at a more measured pace, the consumption will be less. For me, this is a very good expense for such a car.

I can't tell you much about the repair costs, since the mileage for two years was not particularly large, but I noted a few things for myself - spare parts, even the original, are quite affordable, for example, brake discs 3,500 rubles apiece, the original, I think is quite inexpensive. Filters generally cost pennies - the original oil is 500 rubles, the air is 800 rubles, in general, everything is like everyone else, but God forbid, it is necessary to replace some kind of plastic or rubber band. My wife has torn the rubber seal of the rear door (for those who do not know, this is an elastic band that goes along the inner contour of the door, it can easily be seen if you open the door). So, this very seal is worth it... 6,500 rubles . I changed the front fenders in the spring. The price of the original front is 4000 per piece, the rear is about 5000 rubles. Of course, I don't know about other brands, but it's kind of expensive for a people's car. Moreover, if there is still a way out with the fenders and you can buy not the original for 1200, then with the same seal, everything is much worse.

The car was serviced every 7-9 thousand km . During the passage, I always changed the oil and filter, the air filter (the air filter must be changed, it gets dirty decently for 8000 km of mileage), plus I changed the cabin filter twice a season. THEN, as a rule, in a normal service it would fit into 8000 rubles. By the way, a personal recommendation about the cabin filter is not to change it yourself, it is very inconvenient, it is in a box near the driver's right knee, in order to change it without disassembling the floor of the car, you need to have an extensive vocabulary of swear words. I changed the oil in the variator for 60,000 mileage, with the removal of the pallet and oil change in the angular gearbox and transfer case, this pleasure cost 20,000 rubles, if I changed it myself, I would save about 8-10 thousand rubles. By the way, the pallet was ideally, there were no chips on the magnet at all, so if you operate the car carefully, then you can replace it in the way that the officials recommend, in my opinion, at 90 thousand km, but I feel safer this way. At the same time, I changed candles, I don't remember how much for the price, but not particularly expensive.

From unscheduled maintenance, in addition to the fenders and sealer, the joint of the crankcase pallet began to sweat, I eliminated it at the next one, it cost about 2500 rubles (to do about 1000 rubles for a gasket plus a sealant on my own), the handbrake cables were worn out, there are two of them, each costs about 3000 rubles plus a replacement of about 2000 rubles for each. At 73,000 km, they said that the steering rods were starting to fit, replaced them with the original, with the installation cost 3,500 rubles per wheel turned out. Even on the suspension, I changed the silent blocks of the front large levers. By the way, they are original and sold only assembled with a lever, so I did not put the original for 800 rubles. a piece, together with the work and the collapse, about 5000 rubles came out for both wheels. I also changed the rear and front stabilizer bushings on the suspension, I don't remember exactly the price, but some pennies are about 1500 rubles for the axle along with the work. There were no more unscheduled repairs.

For today, the car was sold, in general, we were very satisfied, it did not cause much trouble, I was always sure of it, unlike BMW, but this is a completely different car and for other purposes.

From the point of view of liquidity, it is difficult for me to judge, each car owner has his own criteria, and I will give my figures - we took a car in 2016 for 820,000 rubles, with a mileage of 38,000 km (I do not know how much it was not twisted, it does not beat on this car) plus we put a camera and monitor total it cost about 850 thousand rubles. Sold for 750 thousand, for me a loss in price of 6% per year, it's not much. The car left in a month, there were only four real buyers. The lower offer at the price of 720 thousand, the highest, but with a delay of 3 weeks - 760 thousand. Of course, I do not take into account the ubiquitous salons and overbiddings, which were offered for 700,000 and all sorts of dubious buyers, supposedly know-it-alls, who tried to bring down the price with all sorts of nonsense about the fact that the car was imported into the country almost in parts and determined with an eye that the whole car was killed, without resorting to the help of devices, such immediately I sent them by the forest. It was possible to sell it at a higher price, and eventually sell it not in a month, but in a year, winning 30-50 thousand, but I think that if the car is not in demand, then it's better to carry new owners, and not gather dust under the window. Good luck to everyone on the roads.
