Canon PowerShot A495 camera - reviews

The Canon PowerShot A495 is my best friend forever. I bought it for me as a birthday present. I loved its compactness, design, color - my color is blue. My camera is 2-3 years old. It has never failed me.

The pictures are sharp, beautiful. There are different functions. For travel, family photos, impressions is fine. I do not quite remember the price, but expensive I would not buy. It is also possible to take a video. The only bad thing is the charging. First of all, there is no battery charge indicator. Secondly, the battery does not last much especially in winter. All night I was charging them, but there is no use. And thirdly, you often forget the spare batteries.

We use the camera Canon PowerShot A495 5 years, a very good thing for our family. Outdoors, the pictures come out very bright and as natural as possible. There are no distortion effects, such as the background of nature merging with the person standing in front. Indoors, you don't need the flash for clear images. Easy to use. Canon is one of the firms that have their own profile, and does not produce a lot of equipment, unlike many other firms. And it already speaks about quality and convenience. We always recommend it to our friends and to everyone.

Canon PowerShot A495 - good for family photos. I have no complaints about this camera. I have been using it for a year now. The price is affordable. Very user friendly and easy to use menu. Photos are quite clear, for ordinary ordinary pictures with family or friends, the quality of the photos is more than enough. There is a macro mode and photos with it are very good quality. In general, the feature set is standard, i.e. "bright sun", "portrait", "children/animals", etc. Indeed, sometimes the flash charges for a few seconds, it can be a little annoying. It is convenient in that as the power used conventional batteries or rechargeable batteries, I bought myself a few sets of batteries at once. I bought several sets of batteries at once. The lack of a charge indicator means that I do not know how much the batteries have drained out. You only get a warning when there is not much charge left.

The Canon PowerShot A495 is a great budget option. We bought this camera for my brother. He really wanted a camera of his own because I never let him use mine. Yes, yes, I know that I am not a good sister. The main criterion for choosing a camera was a low price, because he just needed a "play", so to speak: just take pictures of various house holidays, gatherings, family gatherings, and the like. I read all the comments and photos on the sites for cameras, including the site fotoloid.ru, the desired price range, in addition to I searched a dozen similar sites with reviews and comparative test photos. At the end, after a thorough search, I have decided on this model. About Canon PowerShot A495 model itself. It has nothing extra, only what you need for family photos, macro presented, no hassles with manual settings and extra buttons. In general, "press and shoot. Color rendering is very good, as in most Canon. In low light, of course, there is some noise, but you can't get rid of it. But in the daytime, in the fresh air, and even if the sun - just a beauty. The only thing that sometimes worries me when I take it in my hands is that the plastic is too brittle to the touch, I think that one fall will be enough to say goodbye to it forever. I was also annoyed by the constant buzzing when it tries to determine whether to shoot in auto or macro. But after a week I got used to it and it began to seem like a very useful thing. In general, if you want to buy your parents Canon PowerShot A495 to replace their "film friend" or your child "by all means" wants to get a camera as a gift, but do not have much money for such nonsense; well, or if you just need a machine to capture the moments of your life, then Canon PowerShot A495 is perfect for it.

There is simply no better at this price point! I have had this camera for a long time now, 3 years in fact. Since then, I carry it everywhere. I got the blue color which looks very stylish despite the fact that the camera is old. The camera has 10 megapixels, which is not a lot these days, but for family photos will do. Unfortunately, the video is shot maximum VGA quality (640x480). A huge number of settings will confuse the beginner, but by uncomplicated actions can turn on a very interesting shooting modes.

We have taken over 5000 pictures with our device and I can write general impressions:

- A bright picture
- Good focus
- Bright flash
- The size of the photos

In general, for my money the camera has paid for itself completely. The only thing I was careless about was breaking something in the battery door, but even that was fixed with duct tape. I recommend this camera for kids and yourself.

Once upon a time, back in the olden days, I had a Nikon, I don't remember which one it was, but it was a low-pixel, weak-looking one. I couldn't get enough of it - it took such good pictures. But nothing lasts forever, the time has come for it to leave me. Well, as my finances, maternity leave, at that moment was not very good, I decided to listen to a consultant in a store and buy a Canon - budget version. Moreover, it was two heads above my former Nikon. Well, I bought it and started to test it. What can not be taken away from it, because the macro photography for such a price is awesome. A grain of sand there, a little flower to photograph, a drop of dew on a cabbage leaf - it's just brilliant, not a photo. But I had to take pictures of myself and the baby in the first place. That's when I found out that his photography is, to put it mildly, bad. It is terrible in artificial light. Even better in natural light, but still not good enough. Please don't tell me that I don't know how to use the modes. I tried everything. Through trial and error, I chose one of the program modes, which was taking pictures, like, and nothing, but slowed down at the same time the worst way. Well, it was better than the guaranteed blur. Anyway, after a while he started having problems with the lens - "Lens Error". There was no warranty, the service center said that this was a standard problem for Canon, and they repaired it and gave me a six-month warranty. The warranty expired and the camera broke down again. All in all, I don't recommend this camera.
