Canon PowerShot A3100 IS - reviews

The Canon PowerShot A3100 IS takes bright, high-quality photos and decent video. We bought this camera 1.5 years ago. We were thinking about choosing either a camera with video mode or a camcorder with photo mode for home use.

We opted for this camera Canon PowerShot A3100 IS and we have never regretted it. Since then, he pleases us with bright, clear photographs and video. In good light, the video is super. There is a disadvantage - in video mode, when using the zoom, the focus is not corrected. That is, if you zoom in on the video, you get a blurry image. Of course, there is no manual focus.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS - simple and tasteful. Easy camera in every sense, not mediocre. Just the thing for beginners. The price/quality ratio is top-notch. My first digital camera was exactly the same, nothing too much, just plain as hell. Eventually I bought a better model, but I have not forgotten about this one either, I always have it with me, just in case.

A simple camera Canon PowerShot A3100 IS. This camera was bought by my mother. She takes pictures just for herself and only in auto mode. She does not chase after highly artistic photos and has no idea about exposures. The main criterion for the choice was an inexpensive price. What can I say from the first minute I took it in my hands I realized that it is somewhat uncomfortable to hold it in my hands. I can never take a picture with one hand even though I should always hold it with two hands but many people neglect this rule. The buttons on the back panel are also uncomfortable. You have to press with force, they are constantly falling somewhere. To my surprise there are no manual settings. There are only a couple of standard modes like portrait and sport. I don't like the quality of photos. The colors are not bright, as if all lightened, become faded. I feel like I'm holding some kind of pre-revolutionary model. It has the flimsy look of the shell, as if it would fall apart with a little effort. On the plus side I can say that it is quite light. For such a price you could buy a much better option. I advise to take it only if you've never held a camera in your hands before. You will have enough automode. For beginners it is very good, otherwise it is better to look for another option.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS is a great, compact, decent model. Before buying a point-and-shoot, I searched through pages with reviews for a long time, and I finally settled on the Canon Powershot A3100 and I have not regretted it. The 12.1 megapixel camera, 4x zoom, in three different colors - silver, red and blue. I've been using it for over a year, the quality is amazing, easy menu, large LCD screen, a lot of modes, auto, party, portrait, action shots, children and animals, landscape, simple mode, program (manual adjustment), face recognition. The price absolutely corresponds to the quality, professional photos with one touch. Movie mode is very good, on a memory card of 4 GB-32 minutes of recording, the approximate number of shots 1471. The battery lasts long enough, three or four hours of continuous shooting. When shooting in the evening, with artificial light, you get bright, beautiful pictures during the day, especially outdoors, just great. I am very happy with it! It has no flaws for me personally. In the macro photo shoot with artificial light.

The Canon PowerShot A3100 IS is a great inexpensive camera. This is an inexpensive budget model. It has all the basics, after my previous Nikon the difference is significant. The pictures come out bright. I like the fact that it adjusts itself to macro mode. The plastic is high quality, large screen. This is really a camera for home use, to shoot holidays, travel, children. Very easy to operate, without the extra hassle. I am pleased with the quality of video, it was even better than my camcorder. I recommend this camera for those who just want a camera. I am 100% satisfied with Canon A3100 IS.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS is a beginner's camera and it is one of the best. When I wanted to buy a digital camera, I searched every imaginable and unimaginable user forum, read reviews, listened to advice from professionals. But I chose Canon. I wanted an inexpensive camera with more megapixels and good color reproduction. In addition, I did not like battery-operated cameras, as they were too bulky and difficult to use. My choice fell precisely on the Canon PowerShot A3100 IS, it fully met my modest needs.

So:

- pleasant to hold in your hands, it does not slip out of your hands, nothing unnecessary protrudes
- Has a wide LCD screen
- 12.1 megapixel, 4x optical zoom
- Availability of auto mode, landscape, portrait, in motion, etc. In addition, there is a program mode in which the unit can be customized
- Brighter, crisper images
- When using the camera at night, the flash works great, there is no "bleached" faces, etc.
- The battery lasts for a long time (about 3-4 friendly chats or family photo session), the battery charges in about 1.5-2 hours

The disadvantage I can name the presence of a yellowish tint in the photo when photographing under a lamp. The first photo is a shot taken during an autocross race, the second photo is a plate of handmade sushi. In addition, all the photos I add to this resource are taken with my digital camera.

Cannon cameras are perfect for the family. Canon PowerShot A3100 IS back in 2010, the purchase was satisfied. Photos come out bright, saturated. A lot of settings, different functions. The most important thing is to properly adjust for the money you'll be photographing. We often use the automatic mode and photos of children, fast-moving objects. Surely, I wanted a better video, but for the price of the camera is okay, but a lot of noise when zooming in, but so for the family archive is fine. It has a stylish design, small size, different colors of the camera, we liked the silver one. It is perfect for a family, but for professional photos you need something more powerful, of course.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS review. We decided one day to buy an inexpensive and easy to use camera. When we went to a store and asked what the suggestion was, we were asked about Canon PowerShot A3100 IS. Before buying a new one, our old camera was just Canon. In general, we bought it without thinking twice. We were very happy with the purchase. There are a lot of different functions and modes - party, portrait, landscape, and others, although, to be honest, I almost always use the automatic mode, I think it's the most convenient. Video is pretty good-not blurry, transmits colors well. I was especially pleased with the quality of macro shots, and what a picture of landscapes! It is very handy and not cumbersome. The disadvantage I think the noise when opening the lens. Although this is just a little thing. It has faithfully worked for about three years now. If I want to buy a great camera in the future, I will take only Canon. And now a few pretty good pictures taken with this camera without any filters. Enjoy watching it.

Canon PowerShot A3100 IS is a very decent camera for amateur photography for reasonable money. Quite decent picture quality. A great user experience.

Pros of Canon PowerShot A3100 IS: Excellent automatic - it detects the parameters of the shooting without any visible errors. Fast auto focus. Compact size, but comfortable in the hands, lightweight. Satisfactory photo quality in low light. Quick start, ready to go. Not bad optical stabilizer - at a small zoom (zoom in) and medium light (cloudy weather) - almost no blurred pictures (even when using a child). Lithium-ion battery. Excellent macro photography - for those who are important to photograph documents. Good quality video (standard resolution). Nice package - hand strap, usb cable, AV cable, charger, plug adapter for eurolink, software CD, user manual.

Cons Canon PowerShot A3100 IS: A little weak 4x zoom, sometimes you want more zoom. No case for the camera in the kit.
