Hello! I want to share my purchase with you. This is a wonderful Sony Alpha SLT-A57 camera. I am not a photographer, but just an amateur, I like to take beautiful and unusual photos. In the store, I still had doubts whether to buy or not, but I decided and bought, and he did not disappoint me, but became my favorite. I take it with me on trips, take pictures of nature and all kinds of beauty. In this review, I will not describe the camera itself, because you can read about its characteristics on any site (even watch a video), but I just want to show the photos taken on it.

Just delighted with the Sony Alpha SLT-A57 Kit! Since I am not a professional photographer and I have been doing photography relatively recently, I did not spend money on expensive products, but in the end I did not regret my choice a bit. The first photos turned out to be incomparable! Light, shadow and penumbra lay where it was needed. All functions are absolutely simple and clear. Nothing superfluous, everything you need. It is possible to take panoramic photos. In motion, the camera shoots just great! Everything is detailed and accurate, nothing is blurred. It is also interesting that the camera is able to shoot video, and even quite high-quality. Well, I've finished my short story, now you can start viewing photos.

Sony Alpha SLT-A57 Kit is not bad for its price. A very good photo product for its price. I didn't like only its shape, it's difficult to hold it in your hand so as not to close all sorts of sensors. I was pleased with the resolution of the picture. It's very good to view it later on the big screen. The photo product is not heavy, it easily fits into an ordinary bag. A good one for those who do not want to buy expensive large photo products, which are more expensive and do not differ in functionality if they do not know how to configure it all.

Sony Alpha SLT-A57 Kit is an interesting camera. I was given a Sony Alpha SLT-A57 camera and for the first time, except for ordinary photos, I did not use it, and, in general, everything was fine. But when I had to photograph a lot, different pens began. Programmatically, the camera is stuffed with all sorts of unnecessary things, although, I believe, it is not intended for professional shooting. In general, if you upgrade it, you can get a good device. It is better not to shoot the video on it, because the line-by-line scan does not give complete information, and the encoding method compresses the image, which interferes with installation if other types of cameras were used in the video.


Pros: a cheap version of the DSLR, a good matrix, a rotary display, a sensor on the viewfinder, a good battery.

Cons: not the most user-friendly interface, it gets cluttered up quickly and you have to reset the settings, the color is lame in places, the shutter sound, personally, the flash does not work well for me, I do not use it and therefore it does not matter to me, the lens in the kit is naturally not very good, poor sensitivity and the viewing angle could be a little more.


For training, the camera is the best fit, but for professional shooting it is better to take the devices more seriously.

Huge functionality, lots of interesting modes (creative people will appreciate). The photos are bright, juicy, high-quality. Until recently, I mostly used super auto mode (this is for those who don't want to bother too much, but want good pictures). There's autofocus and ISO automatically), in general, a smart machine. I also like to take pictures in portrait and macro mode. Now this camera is always with me. And I take it to nature, and on rafting, and on holidays. One day in the forest with my mother I saw a hedgehog, and my Sony immediately came in handy.

When I wanted to buy this camera, I did not find a detailed review about it, so now I will write my own, perhaps (and I hope) it will be useful to someone.

I have been using the camera for several months and all this time I am in complete and boundless delight. This camera is simply created for those who want to take beautiful pictures, but at the same time do not want to delve into professional terms and functions, constantly adjust something.

Now briefly about the main functions that I use. There is a mode in which the camera automatically analyzes the environment and determines the optimal shooting conditions.


Within this mode there are such great features as:

1) portrait (photographs a person's face clearly, and everything else around is blurred, probably everyone has seen such a photo plan, it turns out very beautiful, the color reproduction is very warm)

5) there are also several night modes, night portrait, sunset, twilight shooting. I rarely use them, but nevertheless, photos at night also turn out incomparably


A few more features of the camera: there is a 3D shooting function, Full HD quality video shooting, the ability to take retro photos. Manufacturer's warranty is one year. It seems that she told me everything basic. I really like the camera, the quality of the photos is simply excellent. I just select the shooting mode with one button: portrait, landscape, sport, panorama or night photo and I press the shutter all the time, I also really like that the frame processing time is minimal, well, this is probably for all cameras of this class, after the soap dish it seems that it shoots at the speed of light. Photos taken with this camera have been added, but the site unfortunately cuts the quality by reducing the size.

Sony Alpha SLT-A57 Kit defeats competitors in this price category.


Dignities:

1) Modern matrix. I consider iso 1600 to be working.
2) Comfortable ergonomics (not like Nikon's stumps for this price), there are buttons for quick switching between the main shooting parameters.
3) The electronic viewfinder allows you to display the level and grid, for me this is a big plus.
4) Great video with autofocus and a decent enough stereo microphone.
5) Shooting HDR, panoramas.


Disadvantages:

1) I really don't like the work of white balance - it gets cold all the time. It is necessary to use a gray card every time for its adequate installation. Very annoying. For this, the top three in terms of ease of use. Why was it impossible to calibrate normally at the factory?!
2) I still didn't understand the principle of the image stabilizer, I specially took pictures at long exposures with and without it - and I don't see the difference!
3) Native optics are expensive.
4) The camera turns on very slowly.
5) It is not possible to set the algorithm of the autoiso operation.


User's opinion:

In general, it is a very pleasant camera against the background of the fact that in this price category Nikon cameras have very much reduced ergonomics, and canon has been stamping all its models on the same matrix for decades. I am not interested in pseudo-mirrors like Olympus or Panasonic. It turns out that right now it makes sense to take Sony, since the ergonomics are sufficient for comfortable control and the matrices are new. In addition, he shoots a full-fledged and very high-quality video with constantly working autofocus. To be honest, after EVIE, it's somehow hard to use an optical viewfinder in other mirrors, since the exposure before shooting can be evaluated and adjusted as I want.

I used to use a "soap dish" and decided to buy a digital one. I bought this camera about 2 months ago. And I am very happy about it! I can only say good things about him. A very good camera! There is no comparison with the "soap dish"!The quality of the photos is excellent! True, a beginner needs to learn how to use all the functions of the camera, but it's worth it! It's not that hard. It is better to learn how to use it via the Internet. I went on vacation with him, I didn't regret the purchase a bit! The photos are awesome! I compare it with the photos taken by the soap dish, this is heaven and earth! The price and quality in my opinion are very good! You won't regret it if you buy it!
