This is my second SLR camera, before that there was a Canon 550D. He already has a lot of mileage and decided to change to a newer model.

I categorically did not want to return to the soap dishes, and our budget is limited, so we chose a non-expensive SLR camera, which, as a beginner, is still enough for me.

I love taking pictures and taking pictures. I shoot mostly family, friends, my plants. I want to capture unforgettable moments of growing up of a child in time for memory. We ourselves are not getting younger, and we always want to have good photos in the family archive. My orchids, the flowering of which I sometimes wait for years, require that they be photographed beautifully.

In general, I am not a professional photographer, but a self-taught one. Therefore, I will tell you about the camera functions from the point of view of an amateur who learns from his mistakes.

There are a lot of good soap dishes now, but in my opinion, the DSLR gives more opportunities for creative photos. I chose this model first, according to my budget of course. It costs a lot of money - 25 thousand money. it's not enough for me. Professional cameras cost over 100 thousand, but let's talk realistically. To train a teapot like me, this camera is quite enough. So far I have a whale object, which was included in the kit. You can get beautiful photos with it. But no one forbids buying another lens later and the photos will be better. A SLR camera gives a beginner prospects for growth and development. It's all about the ability to work with settings, feel your camera, and not in an expensive professional DSLR.

The eternal CANON or NICON dispute

I have not dealt with the second one, but I am sure that this company is also good. Before making a decision, I would advise those who go for a camera for the first time to hold both in their hands in the store. And then choose the model you like. The wedge did not converge on Canon and Nicon, there are still others.

I like Canon cameras because they have more choice of optics. The first mirror friend was Canon, whose settings and menu I figured out. Therefore, I chose the model of the same company.

When buying the device in the store, they were allowed to take it in their hands and look for damage, scratches on the lens. The buttons were all pressed, the wheels were spinning. The device was in a box with perfectly clean glass, all the cords were rolled up, neatly packed, i.e. it is zero. They did not turn it on, although it may be necessary to check it. We checked it at home ourselves, the warranty is one year.

Matte black color, like most Canon models. The carcass lies comfortably in the hand, does not slip out due to the rubberized sidewall. The case is plastic, pleasant smooth to the touch. It looks good in the hands of any person.

I will not paint about all the modes, because everything is clear in the instructions written. Its characteristics are also available on store websites.

Carcass, lens, charger, battery, USB cord, carrying strap, instructions.

The lens was included without a stabilizer, standard 18-55 Kit. Immediately we bought a filter so that the lenses would not scratch and dust would not get in.

I saw a more expensive camera in the store, but there is a lens with a stabilizer. The 550D was with him. Of course, it is better to take it with a stabilizer if possible. But I plan to purchase another lens in the future. In the meantime, you can take good photos with this.

Instruction manual. Everything is written in detail there, how to set it up and shoot it. Basic knowledge, so to speak. But you will get experience only by constantly shooting different situations.

You need to buy an additional carrying bag, a memory card.

Optionally, lenses, a pen for cleaning optics, lens filters, a tripod are purchased.

I also have a Helios 44-2 lens, a pen for cleaning optics, a polarizing filter and a star filter. Additionally, the screen was sealed with a protective film.

Of course, it is worth noting the function of connecting to a smartphone via Wi-Fi. I put Camera Connect apps on my phone and I can immediately throw a photo through it and post it on social networks, for example. And you can control the camera from your smartphone.

The first setting. First, I charged the camera to the end and discharged it. And so it needs to be done several times to pump the battery so that the charge is better kept. I set up the time, date, photo quality, in which format they will be saved.

The camera is designed for a beginner photographer. The menu has hints for each mode, intuitive. Then they can be turned off, but at first, they just helped out. I had a mess in my head from the settings and what to put when! Not a bad camera, just hands from the wrong place.

What is shutter speed, aperture, ISO is difficult to remember the first time. But of course it is necessary to remember, because these are the most important points by which the camera is adjusted to different shooting conditions. I don't use preset modes already, only creative ones, although at first I shot on the machine, then I figured it out. It's funny to click on the machine, having bought the device for not a little money. And in manual mode, photos are more lively, much more beautiful, because automation is often mistaken.

The Council. Youtube is full of instructional videos about settings, different situations when shooting. Watch them, so you will quickly remember how to set up the camera. I shot the first time by setting it up once, but I got photos of different quality and well exposed and poorly, my mistake is that there are different settings for each light level.

I couldn't put everything in my head for a long time, but I watched and continue to do it with a camera in my hands and immediately try to shoot. In practice, it is immediately clear why it is better this way, and not the other way. And the photos began to get better.

That's how I learned that if children are devils and don't sit still, it's better to shoot with a minimum shutter speed. And if they sit and draw on the wall, then you can extend the shutter speed and then you can adjust the aperture.

And now I'll show you some photos taken with a standard lens, without processing.

I'm an amateur and I don't know much, so I accept criticism and advice.

I also shoot on Helios 44-2. This is a portrait camera that fits to the camera through an adapter.

Focusing is done by his hands, but the photos are amazing. Helios draws very beautifully, gorgeous bokeh. Such a lens is not expensive, so I advise you.

Cons that I noticed: ISO can be set either auto, or choose from the suggested ones. But it seems to me that this is not enough. I would like more values. And if you put it on a car, the camera most often picks up the value and noises are obtained in the photo. There is no autofocus on the video.

Hello. I want to share my impressions about the first Canon EOS 1300D SLR camera in my life with the included 18-55 DC Kit lens. I am not a professional photographer, so I will not delve into the topic, but I will try to highlight some pros and cons for the common man. Let the professionals forgive me, I'm just learning to Sad All the photos "as is", without processing.

I do not underestimate, my old ten-year-old compact Kodak camera worked properly and is still working (not counting periodic freezes, flashes and a light streak in the pictures), but my creative soul was looking for changes. All compact cameras, even with an honestly inflated cost, in the end did not particularly differ in the quality of the output material from my old man Kodak. The quality of the photos is important to us in the end. And yes, the skill of the photographer also plays an important, even the first role. In the end, having not the biggest budget, the choice fell on this model from Canon, in fact, a budget SLR camera, in stores today is almost the only one of its kind.

The battery is charged separately from the camera, in a special "station". It is very convenient that it has an indicator indicating when the battery will be fully charged.

Also, this model has a Wi-Fi function. You can transfer photos to your smartphone on the spot, without an intermediary in the form of a computer. And yes, there is a point that when you connect the camera to the computer (with a cable), turn off the Wi-Fi function, otherwise the computer may not react to the new device. The camera has a variety of modes. Creative, basic, manual. They can be switched with a standard "wheel".

I have nothing to compare this camera with, except with a compact one, so I start from the sensations. Photos, if you know how to photograph, turn out, in a word, wonderful. Of course, there are expensive cameras with expensive lenses, but the layman and the common people do not need tricks. In addition, there is a lot to grow here - buy a different lens and here, in fact, a new camera.

The default lens, the 18-55 DC Kit, can shoot macro, people, landscapes, everything, within its focal length. For a larger zoom, of course, you will need a different lens. Focuses sometimes for a long time, a little noisy. In the absence of a flash, it is better to shoot on a tripod, it is smeared if the grip in the hands is not iron.

There are a lot of functions and settings, but they are quite clear and convenient - basic, and even more so for knowledgeable people. The menu is quite human.

One of the disadvantages is the lack of stabilizer and autofocus in video shooting. In low light, you need a tripod.

I am more than happy with the purchase. I recommend this camera to those who have the largest amount, but want to either take photos or just enjoy the process of shooting. Despite the fact that in the future it will always be possible to improve this heavy miracle with a more expensive lens.

For a long time I dreamed of such a device, but I still did not dare to buy it, the reviews for budget mirrors were too contradictory, and I did not want to spend money on expensive things, and there was no extra money.

But time passed, and the thought did not give rest.

Of course, I have a camera and a phone with a camera, but everything is wrong, there is no detail, the color rendering is not quite real, I wanted a live picture. Background blur.

And so I dreamed and dreamed, I climbed the sites. As always, I want cheap and good.

On one of these days, my husband decided to give me a mirror. Stop dreaming, it's time to possess.

There was no limit to my delight. But when I picked it up for the first time, I put it back in the box and took the instructions, I didn't even know how to turn it on, screw the lens and charge the battery.

This device cost us 25,990 money, it is cheaper by 3 thousand, but there is an optical stabilizer and a matrix cleaning function, and some other characteristics are slightly better than in a CD-labeled lens.

Finally, I turned it on after a couple of hours of studying the instructions.

I started taking the first photos, naturally on auto modes, I touched the manual one later, and so far I understand that I still need to learn what and for what, to take the course that I was given when buying the device.

I like the built-in flash, unlike my sony, it does not whiten the face, it only highlights, and if you step away and adjust the zoom, it will be even better and the photo in the room will turn out great.

You can connect it to the computer with the cable that comes with it, but I just take out the USB stick and insert it into the computer. There is also Wi-Fi, I use it to upload photos to my smartphone via the Canon camera connect app.

With this application, you can control the viewfinder, move away and press the shutter on the phone is very convenient, but sometimes the application is stupid.

I'm still happy with the camera, I'm starting to figure out which modes to turn on when to achieve the desired result.

If you are reading these lines, then most likely you are planning to buy your first SLR camera. I will try to describe the functionality of this camera as much as possible "from the point of view of a beginner" to help you decide whether this is your camera or not.

I'll start with the background. I always liked to take photos as soon as something cute came into my field of vision. But I've never taken it seriously. One day, walking in the park, the thought came to my mind - I want a camera. And so, that same evening, I'm already crawling on the Internet in search of my first DSLR.

My choice fell on this device. Firstly, it is budget-friendly. It's kind of embarrassing to call a budget camera for 22k, but if you compare it with the prices of professional equipment, then it's really budget-friendly. In general, the price seemed acceptable to me for the "gave and forgot" option. And secondly, the characteristics of the camera. It seemed to me that its capacity for training was enough.

Why Canon and not Nikon? It's simple, I was dealing with a friend's Nikon with similar characteristics, and it just "didn't fit in my hand."

I didn't choose from other firms. A large number of easily accessible accessories. I don't like to complicate my life.

In general, it seems to me that the quality of photos does not depend on the camera company. A beautiful photo can be taken on a smartphone. There would be hands from the right place. Each company has its advantages and disadvantages. But the principle of operation of SLR cameras can be studied on any. So don't get hung up on "just Canon/Nikon/Sony", etc.

The camera is small, light - a little more than 500 grams with a lens. A great solution to carry with you and at the same time not feel like a dray horse.

The design is classic for Canon. Such a camera will not look "alien" either in the hands of a brutal man or on the neck of a fragile girl.

The case doesn't look particularly strong, but you weren't going to play football with it, really, but the camera feels nice in your hands. It seems to me that the case is designed just for such a lifetime that a novice photographer learns to cope with technology, puts this camera aside with warmth in his soul, and buys a new one.

The kit included instructions, a USB cable, a charger and a battery. And of course the camera itself and the lens. And a rope around his neck, where without it. I also bought a fresh memory card. Without a memory card, the camera will not photograph anything for you, be prepared.

Here I would like to mention another important issue. How to check the camera when buying?

We check the integrity of the kit. Immediately we look at how all the "shoelaces", the battery, the camera and the lens are wrapped in polyethylene. If they were opened, you will notice it. Do not take a camera that has already been "tested" before you. After all, it is possible that it was a marriage. About the presence of small scratches - everything is also clear here. All the "caps-buttons-wheels" should snap-press-spin easily, without crunching, creaking and other joys.

Check the shutter. You are unlikely to be allowed to do this and the following points before you buy a camera. Insert the battery. Select the "series" mode and take a series of pictures, thereby checking how the shutter works.

We check the broken pixels. We take a photo with the lid closed. We enlarge the image and carefully examine it. Bright white dots that "crawl" across the screen are broken pixels on the matrix. If there are up to 10 of them, this is not a marriage. If more is bad. If the bright dots "don't crawl", they are broken pixels on the LCD screen. Not fatal, but unpleasant.

Checking the hot pixels. The principle is the same as with broken pixels. Only ISO needs to be supplied from 1600. Bright colored dots are hot pixels. There shouldn't be too many of them. We check how the microphone and speaker work by taking a test video. There is nothing more to check in this particular camera model, especially for a beginner.

Require filling out the warranty from the manufacturer. A "piece of paper" from the store is not a guarantee. First of all, the warranty card from the manufacturer should be filled in - it is sealed in mica right under the instructions, open them, look for the coupon there and give it to the seller.

So, my unit steadfastly endured all the executions. And he turned out to be without marriage.

Let's go to the settings. In order to set up this camera, there simply cannot be any problems. The menu is intuitive. And who doesn't understand - everything is written in the instructions so that even the most stupid blonde will figure it out. For a beginner - the very thing.

The coolest thing is the hints. When you adjust the photosensitivity, aperture, exposure, etc. - hints pop up on the screen what result should be expected at what settings. So the camera is suitable even for beginners with sclerosis who cannot remember everything they read in the instructions. Or for those who are too lazy to read it at all. Py.sy. Then you can disable these prompts.

Well, it is worth noting separately such a function, which I personally have not encountered before this camera. The function of connecting to a smartphone. Roughly speaking, you can use your phone as a camera remote control. Girls, this is the perfect solution for high-quality selfies. You see the image on your smartphone, press the button and voila - the perfect selfie is ready. Of course, you can also view photos on your smartphone. A convenient function to quickly post photos on social networks.

In the end, I'll post a couple of test photos taken with this camera on the first day. By this time I had just found the shutter button, the photos were taken in auto mode, do not judge strictly.

Today I will share with you my acquisition, a lifeline in the world of freelancing and the love of a lifetime from such a technique - Canon EOS 1300D.

Background and briefly about the photographer's work.

I bought it 3 years ago, it cost about 9 thousand dollars at a discount, the price without a discount is 14 thousand. I bought it in an online store.

While still studying in college, I decided to take up photography, and this is probably one of the best decisions in my life. Who doubts to do this or not - of course yes, if you don't want to stand in Pyaterochka or METRO like I did at the time.

You need to figure out the settings and have a vision - and then you will succeed.

Canon EOS 1300D kit (18-55mm) EF-S IS II

A simple and inexpensive camera designed for novice users of "DSLRs".

Very convenient camera to use, does not weigh much 700 gr. It's fashionable to spend three hours on your feet and with a camera around your neck not to get too tired with it. Of course, this is also because the plastic of the lens is quite cheap, but it suits me, the photos are good.

I will leave the examples below, they are all made by me, it is better to see once than many letters.

I couldn't even imagine such convenience. The camera has a wireless Wi-Fi module with the ability to exchange data and remote control, as well as an NFC chip for quick connection with smartphones or tablets. A definite plus, you can throw all the sources directly to your phone after a photo shoot or to your computer.

About 1.5 years ago, I wanted to translate my passion for photographing everything and everything into a professional channel.

I've liked the work of some photographers for a long time. They did not hide what kind of equipment they use. Googling the prices, I was horrified, because really, good professional cameras cost a lot of money.

In addition to the camera, the photographer needs: interchangeable lenses, tripod, umbrella, flashes, reflectors, soft boxes, a powerful computer, graphics programs, preferably licensed, etc., etc. Therefore, if you decide to take up photography professionally, immediately estimate what budget should be for the start. This is the sum of thousands with zeros.

Since my rose-colored glasses quickly fell off me, I decided to start my professional career as a photographer by purchasing an inexpensive camera. To learn the basics of the genre from it. And then, as it goes. Because there is always a chance that it is, as they say, not yours.

My choice fell on the Canon 1300D, since its analog Nikon 3400 cost 5 thousand more.

So, I don't want to talk in detail about the technical characteristics of this model of the camera, all the information is available on the Internet and in the passport for the equipment.

I'll tell you about the pros and cons right away.

Who is this camera for:

If you are buying a camera for yourself (for home use), you are not a photographer and do not plan to be one, then this camera is perfect for you:

✅light in weight;

✅clear menu (there are presets and ready-made modes: "portrait", "macro", "landscape", etc.;

✅it is inexpensive relative to other professional equipment, including Nikon;

If you are a beginner photographer, this camera will suit you too:

✅ light in weight;

✅it is inexpensive, saves the budget to buy a tripod, flash and lenses;

✅copes with minimal tasks, makes it possible to understand in which genres you want to shoot and why you need a camera.

If you are a professional photographer with a limited budget or shoot reports:

✅the camera is also suitable, but you need to buy a normal set of lenses right away;

If you are a super professional, then most likely you will not spend money on this camera, but buy a normal camera.

Let's go back to the situation when you are a beginner photographer or a low-budget one.

What can be taken with this camera, even with its whale lens, a regular lens that has a zoom function, i.e. it can show itself both as a wide-angle lens and as a "TV camera", this is in short:

Portrait in the studio.

Here, the camera does not particularly play an important role, the lighting equipment that is in the pavilion is more important.

It is quite realistic to take normal shots with this camera. He copes with his task.

As long as I can remember, I've loved taking pictures so much. And I think I'm doing it pretty well. I've been shooting for everything: a soap dish, a simple Nokia, a super zoom. But I dreamed, of course, of a SLR camera, so that the background could be blurred, and the face could be made porcelain, and also so that I could think quickly, and yet.

In general, at the end of last year I gave birth to my first Canon EOS 1300D DSLR with the most common "whale" lens included. I bought it on time - for 21,000, and now I often see a price range from 23,000 to 30,000 in stores like DNS, Svyaznoy and others.

Was included:

camera body
lens 18-55 mm
caps-protection on the lens and the hole under the lens
USB cable
charger for the battery
and thick instructions.
I strongly advise everyone who begins their acquaintance with this camera to carefully study the instructions, it is very detailed and understandable! I especially like the section about shooting modes. Thanks to this information, one info-meeting with a professional photographer and watching several video tutorials on the Internet, I quickly figured out how to make friends with my new purchase.

So, what you should know about this camera and why I definitely recommend it.

It's light enough. In my opinion, this is a female version, a kind of lightweight model. Just for our little hands.

This is the EOS generation. He has a very simple and intuitive "navigation". For those who have worked with Canon, it will be easy to deal with this model.

This is definitely a device for beginners in the photography department. In a professional photographer, he is likely to cause a condescending smile. But this "kid" actually can and can do a lot. With it, it is easy to comprehend the basics of photography, learn to understand photo modes, be able to apply each depending on the situation.

And again, all the charm and beauty of lighting is preserved.
Indoors, the camera can be capricious: if you shoot in manual mode or on my favorite, for example, aperture priority mode, with a lack of lighting and an increase in ISO, it produces grainy and noisy photos. Right here are really huge "grains".

When I complained about this to the photographer, she told me that this happens even with more expensive and professional cameras, then a special external flash is used. I will not lower the rating, because it's more a matter of insufficiently skilled hands and small equipment than defects in the camera.
So for its price niche, the photo quality is simply excellent. You just need to learn a little. And then your world will be filled with beautiful photos and pleasant emotions.

I want to tell you about my faithful friend, with whom we have been hand in hand for almost a year, Canon EOS 1300D.

I like to take pictures and be photographed, I like to travel, explore new places. And naturally, I always wanted to capture a lot of things, so buying a camera was a joy and a long-awaited one for me.

Those who are now choosing their first camera, be strong. My choice was long and painful, it took many hours to study the characteristics, examples of photos. And so, when the choice still fell on Canon, the last dilemma remained: 1200D or 1300D. They differed, by and large, by the lower price of the first and the Wi-fi module of the second.

To be honest, in the end I ordered 1200D, but one day I almost woke up in a cold sweat and re-ordered 1300D and now I'm very happy about it. I ordered in MVideo with some kind of super coupon for 18990 money.

In my opinion, Canon entry-level DSLRs do not differ much from each other externally, so there are no surprises here. The handle is rubberized, the buttons are conveniently located under the arm, nothing is backlash.

I will tell you quite a bit about the camera itself. Not much, because there is a lot of information on the Internet. In my review, I wanted to focus on personal impressions and recommendations that I have learned for myself by experience and I want to share with you Yuri.

Camera Characteristics

Number of pixels - 18.0 million pixels

Focal length - Equivalent to 1.6x focal length of the lens

ISO sensitivity - AUTO, 100-6400

Exposure range - 30-1/4000 s, manual long exposure

Shooting Modes - Intelligent Scenario mode, Without Flash, Creative Auto mode, Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Sport, Night Portrait, Video shooting, Software Auto exposure, Auto Exposure with Shutter Priority, Auto Exposure with Aperture Priority, Manual exposure.

Attention, novice amateur photographers. Almost immediately I began to shoot completely on manual settings. And I advise everyone to do so. Yes, at first you will have a lot of "marriage", but over time you will get used to it and achieve excellent results even with such a modest lens, which you will never get on a Car.

The weight of the camera is about 485 g, it is not particularly annoying, with a twisted fix it is even easier and looks more compact, it is convenient to carry with you.

The battery is quite capacious, you can see its characteristics on the Internet, I will tell you about my experience - I charge it very rarely, for the last time, during a five-day vacation in Dombay, in continuous shooting mode, charging was needed only once.

Therefore, I have not needed an additional battery yet, although I know that many people immediately purchase a spare one.

When you take a picture on a whale lens and realize that you lack it, then it's time to move on. Of course, you can choose and buy any lens, but unfortunately their cost is often equal to or exceeds the cost of the carcass.

Therefore, first of all, ask your parents if they have a good old Zenith camera lying around.
Yes, don't be surprised. The fact is that using the adapter M42-Canon EOS lens Helios-44-2 2/58 it can be successfully used on our Canon 1300D carcass.

The focal length of this lens is 58 mm, but on a crop matrix such as ours, the angle of the field of view narrows, the equivalent of the angle will be like for 93 mm on a full frame. This is an excellent focal length for portrait photography and sooooo rare for other types (second photo), so the field of activity of my Helios is not so great.

For a long time I made do with these two lenses, but in the end I wanted something "better" and I decided to buy Yongnuo 35mm 1:2 (YN35mm F2N) - a high—speed fix, a lens with a constant (fixed) focal length) from the Chinese manufacturer Yongnuo Digital.

Another additional purchase to the lens was a polarizing filter. In order to pick up any filter, you need to find out the diameter of the lens thread for filters. Information for each lens is available on the Internet.

The polarizing filter removes reflected light in the photos — solar glare, reflections from surfaces, the glow of the sky due to the reflection of sunlight from ice crystals in the atmosphere. As a result, the sky turns bluer, the water is transparent, the shiny surfaces are matte.
