Nikon D5300 camera review and operation
Nikon D5300 camera review and operation

Nikon D5300 camera. Characteristics and my usage experience. Examples of photos. Feedback from an amateur user. Hello! In this review we will talk about a wonderful camera of the Japanese brand Nikon, model D5300. I will try to tell you in detail about the characteristics of the camera and show examples of photos.

Preface

I've been dreaming about a good SLR camera for a long time, especially after we had a baby and beautiful and bright photos became a necessity. The cost of a camera with an 18-55 lens in the spring of 2016 was 36,000 rubles. Now it costs about 40,000 rubles. My husband advised me to take this particular model, since it is no longer a novelty, which means that the price for it will not be overstated, and at the same time – an updated version of the D5100, which I wanted to take initially.

General information

This unit is packed in a box. Inside it was placed in a bag "with pimples". The box is divided into compartments – for the carcass, for the lens and for documents and wires, quite impressive in size. A computer cord, a battery and a charger are included. The memory card and camera case must be purchased separately. The device weighs about 500 g together with a standard lens. At first it was hard to hold it in your hands, but your hand quickly got used to the weight. For me, he is now weightless. I want to note a very convenient holder-a notch for fingers. It is made under the grip of human fingers. In addition, the plastic from which this holder is made is not smooth, which is very important – the device will not slip out of your hands. It is very pleasant to hold it in your hands and use it, you immediately feel that it is expensive and high–quality equipment and manufacturers have tried for their customers.

The case is made of solid black matte plastic, once again, where there is a notch for the photographer's hand, the plastic is "rough", but pleasant. The case material is non-marking, there are no finger marks on it. The opening for the battery, as well as for the memory card, is easy to open.

The monitor is rotatable. A very convenient feature of the entire 5-thousandth line. You can shoot from a variety of positions, very convenient for selfies. And also such a screen is protected from damage when there is no shooting. It rotates gently and smoothly 180 degrees. Monitor 3.2, instead of 3 (this is a difference from previous models), it is very convenient to view photos on it, transmits colors very well, without distorting them at all.

Included is an instruction written in simple language, without technical explanations for professional photographers. An ordinary amateur user will deal with it easily.

There are three connectors on the case for different types of adapters. The connectors are closed.

The battery holds a charge for quite a long time. I am not a photographer and I do not use a camera for professional purposes. I take pictures quickly, but often. For example, I didn't charge the battery for 2 weeks, but I took pictures almost every day for 15 minutes. The battery charges quickly, in about 2 hours.

You can also shoot high-quality video with the camera, although recording one video clip is limited in time.

Shooting modes

There are not so many buttons on the case, the instructions will help you understand them very easily. There are also several modes of photography – macro, landscape, portrait, child, etc. and automatic mode when the camera system adjusts exposure, shutter speed and aperture. And of course, manual mode, when the photographer adjusts the settings himself.

I sin by not choosing the settings myself and more often take photos in auto mode. But sometimes I still experiment and create my own settings. Sometimes it works, sometimes not so much.

By the way, I noticed that manual settings, if done correctly, display the color nuances and lighting in the photo better than cars.

Lens

Now I have a regular Nikkor 18-55 whale lens, I dream of a more powerful lens for portrait shooting.

Although this lens is inexpensive, it is quite capable of creating very beautiful photos, including portraits. The wide focal length range is suitable for landscapes and for more detailed photos. I did decent macro shots for them. However, for better photos in a room where there is not much light, this lens will not make gorgeous pictures, stronger optics are needed here.

But for a beginner who is just getting acquainted with a SLR camera, buying a whale lens will be quite a sound decision, so you can fill your hand, look at the nuances in different light conditions and draw conclusions - do I need an expensive portrait painter at all? After all, very good portrait shots with excellent bokeh and excellent detail of the object can be created with the help of 18-55. You need to experiment with the aperture and shutter speed.

Examples of photos

In conclusion, I will present some photos taken on a Nikon D5300. Please note that all photos, with the exception of the last one, are not subject to absolutely any processing.

As you can see, the photos are beautiful - landscapes, macro, and portraits.

Result

Nikon D5300 is an excellent camera, with convenient functions, numerous shooting modes, pleasant to use. A beginner will understand it, and it will also be interesting to the pros, because it is improved and updated unlike previous Nikon models. And most importantly, you can use it to create amazing photos for creative expression and for the family archive.

Nikon D5300 camera. Good day, dear readers. Today I will share my feedback on the Nikon D5300 SLR camera. I have been interested in photography for many years, and recently decided to do this in more depth and in the future become a really professional photographer. After weeks of searching for an inexpensive camera, since the budget was limited, my choice fell on this model, it is suitable for beginners and amateur photographers. Released in 2013. Before using it, I advise everyone to read the instructions, so you will understand everything better and faster.

Technical specifications:

- has a crop matrix of 23.5*15.6 mm

- 24.8 million pixels

- rotary screen

- there is a dust removal system

- weight 530 g

- EN-EL14a type battery

- there is Wifi, Live view

- 39 focus points and so on.

Autofocus is average in speed. I will not describe the full characteristics, they can be found on the official website of the manufacturer. The cost of a new one is about 14700 UAH., I took the bu twice cheaper. There are almost no new models now, since it was discontinued. But if you take a bu, then you need to check it completely for operability.

The camera's screen is rotatable, which is very convenient for unusual photo angles, there are many different buttons around the screen. I will not describe the function of each button either. Also, for beginners, there are many tips in the camera menu to make it easier to understand the functionality. The camera has many different modes for shooting, but I use only manual and I twist each setting separately for my tasks. There is a built-in flash, but it is useless for me, frames with a built-in flash are always flat. In general, not very.

The weight of the camera is small, the hand does not get tired, it lies comfortably in the palm of your hand, there are no problems with this. It comes complete with a Nikon 18-55 mm whale lens, I must say right away, it is also useless if you want to become a more advanced photographer and have high-quality sharp shots. But if you are just learning, then the set is quite good. Of course, the camera has a bayonet for interchangeable lenses and it is better to use them if there is an opportunity to purchase them. I use a fix of 35mm, 70-300 mm and 16-85 mm. There are reviews.

The camera has several inputs for different cables, but Usb is most often used. As for the quality of the photos. It is different on different lenses, the sharpness and overall quality of photos depends on the lens model. The camera focuses not too fast, average. I would attribute it more to the cons. There are 39 focus points, which is quite a lot. Shoots in jpeg and raw, the latter I shoot on a regular basis, since this format contains more information than a jeep, and if anything in Photoshop you can pull out much more in quality. In general, the photos are good, I'm happy. But I would like more sharpness in the details, respectively, you need to buy a macro lens, I will choose in the future.

As for the battery. It does not hold all day, as on other models. I have enough for 4-5 hours if I don't use the live view mode, and even less with it. I recommend buying an extra battery.

It will not be possible to shoot video on this camera, since there is no image stabilization and the focus constantly has to be adjusted manually, this is extremely inconvenient. If you need to shoot video, choose another model with stabilization.

My overall impression is good, this is my first DSLR. I earn money on it, I shoot objects, portraits and make a content shoot, that is, 100% is suitable for beginners and you will be able to get money for your work by shooting on this model. The main thing is to have good lighting and preferably not a whale lens. The pros and cons are below.

***

As a photographer, I'm still at the very beginning of my journey, just starting. There are definitely plans for a photo school and master classes. After all, I want to photograph technically correctly.

The hobby of photography for me began with a small hybrid camera Sony Alpha 5000. This is a system mirrorless camera with interchangeable optics. Very small, lightweight, compact and at the same time with a good matrix and interchangeable lenses. At one time it was a simple budget mirrorless. But the photos were of high quality. I have accumulated a small portfolio of landscapes and I decided to upload photos to photo stocks - iStock and Fotolia. Surprisingly, this business has become much more profitable for me than my main job. The case has gone and now photostocks bring me 2-3 times more than the main job of a lawyer. Little Sony is good for everyone. It was enough for photo stocks. But he has a minus - a small fleet of lenses and a long focus. Lenses had to be either bought in Japan on e-bay, or at exorbitant prices in Ukraine. But you can't fix the situation with focus. It is good for subject shooting. But it's not convenient to take pictures with him.

The replacement for Sony was the unassuming Nikon D5300. This is the optimal choice of a workhorse for every day. It will be very good for household, amateur use, and for work (especially if there is a fleet of lenses). So far I'm using it with a Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR whale lens. As for a whale lens, it's not bad at all! To work for every day, the same photostocks do not necessarily need to purchase a top-end model of a full-frame camera. Of course, I also have such a purchase planned for the future. After all, the better the photos, the better they are bought.

And yet the most important thing in photography is the concept, the meaning of the picture. Of course, a lot depends on the camera, but the main thing is the photographer. Therefore, it is very important to learn to work with any technique and use its capabilities and learn to see the plot. My main income at the moment is travel photos. I also shoot the subject, but I don't really like it - it's boring. But to see something interesting, take a picture of it, and then also make money on your impressions - what could be better?! At the time of purchase (six months ago), I purchased a Nikon D5300 with a Nikon AF-S DX 18-105 mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens for about $ 650. It's quite affordable! You can save money and take a kit camera with kit AF-P 18-55 VR. But only if this is your first camera in your life. Otherwise, this whale is completely useless. 18-105 is much better! Here it is better to pay a little extra and take a lens that will give more opportunities. The camera has a 24.2 megapixel matrix of DX format. The same matrix is also used in older Nikon models, which are much more expensive. Does it make sense to overpay?! The camera has 39 focus points. Yes, today it's not so much, but after Sony's mirrorless, the focus here seemed especially good to me. The camera focuses quickly. There are definitely no problems with focus. It happens that the focus misses, but this does not happen often. Despite the fact that this is a SLR camera, the Nikon D5300 is quite light. I myself weigh 43 kg and my previous Sony is very tiny. Since I take photos when traveling, I constantly wear a camera around my neck (now there are 2 photo frames at the same time) and the extra weight is tiring. But as experience shows, the Nikon D5300 does not cause me such problems. I don't feel uncomfortable with his weight. Its stated weight is 420 grams, but the total weight depends on the lens.

For reportage photography, the Nikon D5300 is suitable only at the household level. The shooting speed is 5 frames per second and after them it can hang. So you can't earn money with a reportage photo. The EXPEED 4 processor will not pull ultra-fast multi-frame shooting. This is one of the very few disadvantages. Video in Full HD format is not bad, but this will not surprise anyone. For video, Sony's mirrorless is even better.

As a conclusion, we can say that the Nikon D5300 is an excellent working camera (especially if there are interchangeable optics). If it is expensive for you to purchase a full-frame camera (and it is pointless to do this before reaching a certain professional level), then the Nikon D5300 is still a very good choice. For an affordable price, you get a good matrix, a good focusing system and the ability to change lenses - of which there are a huge number for Nikon. The best photo quality is of course achieved when using a tripod.

Dust, moisture, and shock protection are absent here, so the thing requires careful handling.

The battery has enough pictures for 600-650. If you plan to take pictures all day, then a spare battery is very desirable.

Try it, have fun, improve and of course study your camera. And then your photos will invariably get better and better.

Now photography has become for me not so much a hobby as a way of earning money. The further away, the more interesting it is for me. I try to take a lot of photographs when traveling. And then I sell the same photos on stock photos.

Here I have reviews about interesting trips and various practical nuances for those who like to travel.

A great camera for a beginner and not only! Secrets of shooting + photos taken by him. I will tell you how to get free training at Nikon School I welcome everyone who looked at my review!

Today I will tell you about my experience of using the Nikon D5300 camera, share the secrets of shooting, show the photos taken on it, tell you how to get free training at Nikon School and, of course, share a good mood!

So, let's get started!

Background.

I've been interested in photography quite recently. A few years ago I was interested in macro photography, I liked to photograph flowers, showing their beauty in close-up. Then I didn't have a SLR camera yet, I took pictures on a "soap dish", but I enjoyed the process of shooting and processing photos. Therefore, of course, I dreamed of a SLR camera.

Then he seemed to me like some kind of wonderful device with which you can get great pictures of excellent quality. A few years later, I finally got a DSLR camera!

Holding a box in my hands, inside of which something cherished was hidden, inside I rejoiced like a child who is waiting for the moment when he opens a treasure chest. In fact, it happened! After unpacking the box, I took out the camera and began to look at it. After admiring the camera enough, I began to test it. Of course, since I had no practical skills in using a SLR camera at that time, I began to read the instructions for this camera, in which I learned a lot of interesting things.

Photo course.

When this camera got into my hands, I didn't know what such concepts as shutter speed, photosensitivity, and aperture meant. Even at first I didn't understand what their differences were. There was a sticker on the camera box with the inscription about free training, which Nikon gives to its customers when buying photographic equipment. This training took place online on the official website of the Nikon School photo school. In a course called "Your first Nikon SLR. Fundamentals" had six theoretical lessons. Each lesson contained not only text, but also video material in which the teacher explained something on the topic of this lesson. After reading the theoretical part, there was a creative task in each lesson, which was necessary for passing to the next lesson. Creative tasks were on various topics, and you could choose one or several that you liked the most. After uploading a picture on the chosen topic of the creative task, the teachers of the Nikon photo school checked and evaluated the work. The topics of the lessons were diverse and basic, which allowed the beginner to use the acquired knowledge in practice. Such as, for example, about the structure of the camera, the principle of its operation, about lenses, lighting, shooting in RAW and JPEG formats. Upon graduation, I received a certificate (it was in my personal account in PDF format), which confirmed that I had completed training in this course.

About the camera.

Live View shooting and rotary display.

What is this camera? First of all, I want to mention the Live View mode and the rotary display, which is a significant advantage. At first, as a beginner in using a SLR camera, it was unusual for me to use a viewfinder. Therefore, the Live View mode has become a great helper for me. It was turned on by pressing a certain "lever" on the camera, and the object being shot appeared on the screen. Thanks to this function, I learned to "see" the correct frame layout, and subsequently began to use the viewfinder. The rotary display also comes in handy when you have to shoot, for example, holding the camera above eye level. Thus, by tilting the display a few degrees (it rotates 180 degrees), you can see the picture being taken.
The lens.

The camera is equipped with a "whale" lens, for a beginner, in my opinion, which will fit perfectly. It was thanks to him that I learned to shoot in various story modes. The focal length of such a lens is 18-55 mm. Basically, I use a focal length of about 35 mm, a focal length of 18 mm can be used when shooting objects in the distance (suitable for shooting landscapes), and a focal length of 55 mm can be used to shoot an object close-up (portrait, macro). And even though it's not a macro lens, it's possible to shoot a macro on it.
Shooting modes.

Of course, the first thing I started photographing in M mode (manual settings mode), setting the ISO, shutter speed and aperture values myself. By trial and error, I identified for myself the appropriate values applicable to certain shooting conditions. How once I did not find the exposure scale on the camera display (when shooting in the viewfinder, it is also displayed there). What is this scale and what is it for? This scale allows you to understand whether the final image will be overexposed or underexposed, that is, overexposed or underexposed. Thus, it allows you to get a normal snapshot.

Story modes. A large selection of scene modes, such as: portrait (used for portrait photography), landscape (for shooting beautiful landscapes), macro (for shooting macro objects), twilight / dawn, pet portrait (I did not use this mode), flowering (for shooting colorful flowers), autumn colors and many others.
Of the special effects, I like to use the "high key". In this mode, the image is overexposed, due to the large amount of light falling on the matrix.

This photo was taken using the "Blooming" story mode. When shooting in manual mode, I got pale photos, so I used this story mode, which simultaneously emphasized both the colors and the shape of the object.

Photo processing menu.

The camera itself has the ability to process photos. Thanks to this feature, you can not only view photos, removing unnecessary and low-quality pictures, but also process photos. I like to apply image overlay - when two photos are superimposed on each other, and a fascinating effect is obtained. The degree of overlap can also be adjusted.

The overall impression.

Of course, this camera is quite smart, due to many technical capabilities (there is even a Wi-fi function), and nimble when performing its operations.

For a novice amateur photographer, such a camera will be a wonderful tool for understanding the basics of photography. For experienced amateur photographers, such a camera will be an excellent assistant when using a good lens.

Photos on this camera are bright, saturated. Being able to use not only manual, but story modes, you can get wonderful pictures, and with the ability to process them in a photo editor, you can get wonderful photos at all. Therefore, I can safely recommend this technique for purchase!

Three Nikon cameras belonging to different price categories have consistently been in my hands, Last time I shared my impressions of owning an entry-level SLR camera - Nikon D3100. Now it's the Nikon D5300's turn.

The main advantages of this camera compared to the previous model from my point of view, as an amateur photographer:

- a rotary monitor that allows you to take photos less noticeably without attracting excessive attention of others (and this is reportage, street, sports photography) and take a selfie-style photo;

- higher resolution of the matrix, which allows you to feel more free when cropping images during post-processing, i.e. shooting can be carried out from a greater distance, all other things being equal;

- more physical controls (buttons);

- a more modern phase focus unit;

- the possibility of interval shooting and shooting with infinite shutter speed (Time mode) with the shutter closing by the second pressing of the shutter button;

- availability of HDR mode (extended dynamic range);

- availability of more settings (bracketing, flash shooting modes, autofocus settings, white balance...);

- for fans of shooting in Jpeg format, the standard features of the Picture Control system are complemented by the ability to download presets from the outside;

- two-level electronic menu system, each of which is called by a separate button;

- the possibility of remote control of the camera via a wireless connection (Wi-Fi), in addition, with the ability to transfer photo files to a mobile control device (smartphone or tablet running Android) in Jpeg format;

- the presence, in addition to the usual stage modes, of special effects when shooting and post-processing before uploading photos from a memory card (multi-exposure, thumbnail effect, contours, selective color, overlapping images, etc.);

- the presence of a more "advanced" processor, contributing to a faster and more uninterrupted implementation of all computing operations that determine the overall system speed of the camera;

- the duration of the videos is up to 20 minutes, while the processor did not overheat when recording several videos in a row (although I did not practice a series of 20-minute videos, but, for example, I recorded an hour and a half concert of the Azure Flower group in the song - pause-song* mode without problems - [link]);

- availability of Geolocation function (GPS).

The period of use of the camera is from September 2016 to January 2019.

The place of purchase is via the Internet in the Svyaznoy retail network.

The first thing I noticed when I received it was a package twice as small in volume, if compared with the D3100 package.

The above picture shows the accessories that are not included in the kit, but the necessary accessories: a mini-SD memory card and a protective filter that protects the front lens from mechanical damage.
Now a little bit about the shortcomings noticed.

They are known to be a continuation of the virtues:

- there are not enough functional buttons, one control disk, which reduces the speed of reconfiguration of camera parameters in conditions of rapid change of shooting conditions (reportage, sports, street ...), because, in fact, you have to turn to the electronic menu all the time, and this takes some time and, at first, a lot...;

- a rather noisy matrix, despite the claimed higher ISO level, which, however, is not surprising, given the almost doubled number of pixels placed on the same area; the advertised removal of the low-pass filter as a means of increasing the clarity of the image, as it seems to me, is just a marketing ploy, in fact, pursuing the goal of ensuring an acceptable signal-to-noise ratio, I note that one of the purposes of the low-pass filter was to combat the appearance of moire in the pictures, and although the manufacturer says that it is practically impossible for it to appear, I still managed to get it once;

- the requirement (for maximum use of its high-speed qualities) of an expensive Extreme class memory card; on Ultra class cards, when recording video, in Full HD quality, the camera, in the course of it, sometimes "hangs", apparently the speed of the Ultra type card is not enough, about which, however, there is a warning in the manual;

- some functions are of a one-time nature, after using them once, you have to go back to the electronic menu to activate them again (HDR or, for example, shutter release delay);

- complete with a standard, whale, lens, it is impossible to determine the presence / absence of a back or front focus, which, however, is typical for other DSLRs, so it would be nice to check the camera and lens for the presence or absence of this phenomenon in the service, you can purchase a high-power lens, - fix and try to determine it's on its own;

- not too confident autofocus in low light conditions, either shooting in frame-by-frame focus mode at the center point when the autofocus backlight is activated by the camera itself, or using an external flash with autofocus backlight can help here;

- not sure Wi-Fi connection, sometimes the connection between the camera and the smartphone was interrupted, but perhaps this was typical only for my instance;

- inability to transfer video files over Wi-Fi;

- the lack of implementation of the so-called "focus trap", which was especially frustrating; as the Tech explained to me.Nikon support, this is due to a change in configuration, but it seems to me that this is the stuff of marketers;

- no "screwdriver", in-camera servo autofocus;

- fast battery discharge in Wi-Fi and GPS mode.

Summarizing all that has been said, I can say that the ideal probably does not exist in nature in principle. The D5300 camera surpasses the D3100 in its functionality and it would probably be strange if it were the other way around. But to say that it exceeds it by two and a half times as its price would be a big exaggeration. If I were now concerned with the task of acquiring it, I would opt for a carcass from the secondary market with as little mileage as possible and a lens for everyday regular use with a FR of 18-140 mm from the same secondary market...Several pictures taken by the described camera in different modes and conditions.

I can say about myself that I really like to take pictures, and I do it all the time, both on a digital camera and on a phone camera, in general, on everything that will be at hand.

I dreamed about a mirror for a long time, as soon as they appeared on sale, but at that time there was no opportunity to purchase it. Now there are actually a lot of cameras, and not SLR cameras, with which you can take great pictures, but my dream, to have a SLR camera, did not give me rest.

And finally, after much thought, reading reviews, weighing all the pros and cons - I chose him!

The battery is removed and charged through a special charger plugged into an outlet. This is actually not very convenient for me. But charging is not long, several hours. As soon as the indicator stops flashing, charging is finished.

Appearance:

✔ Made in classic Nicon style, black matte case. It is relatively small in size. I wanted a not very bulky camera compared to others. And by the way, it is quite light, also in comparison with other models. That was a big plus for me.

✔ There is a finger notch on the camera body itself, as a result of which it is convenient and comfortable to hold in your hands, plus this notch is rubberized so that the device does not slip out of your hands.

✔ The lens is covered by a protective cover. The minus for me is that it is not attached in any way, I constantly forget it somewhere.

I'm still just studying and taking pictures mostly in auto mode. I really want to learn how to understand manual settings, but so far I'm just experimenting.

BUT even for a beginner like me, the photos are of very good quality. Of course, the quality is affected by the time of day, light and so on, you need to try, but mostly the photos are bright, colorful, clear.

I definitely recommend it, for those who are just learning, and for those who already understand SLR cameras. As you can see, with its help, you can get great pictures even for a beginner.

I took this device to replace my old nikon D5100, and I want to say that I did not regret it at all. Yes, they are naturally similar, but the D5300 won me over as soon as I picked it up. The updated interface has become more convenient, and the camera itself fits perfectly in your hand, and there is also wi-fi, but I don't use it, so I can't say anything.

Also, I was pleased with the color rendering. The Nikon D5300 does not have this yellowness and blueness, as often happens. It works well even in the dark with ISO up to 3200, does not smudge and does not ripple.

Of course, with a whale lens, super quality is not achieved, but for amateur, home use or for novice photographers, it is quite enough. And if you can afford it financially, then it's better to buy a lens right away.

***

Easy to handle, almost everything you can - you can adjust, or you can take pictures in auto mode with autofocus and be content with good pictures. I have no complaints about the quality of the photos, the shape of the device, its characteristics. The battery lasts for a long time (if you do not use the screen to view photos), until I even thought about buying an additional one.

The rotary screen is very convenient, especially when shooting videos. Built-in GPS - never came in handy. With a high ISO, the photo is of quite decent quality.

***

The best camera in its class (an amateur SLR camera with a cropped matrix), released by Nikon. A large range of shutter speed and light sensitivity of the matrix. Allows you to shoot under any light conditions. A convenient monitor with a variable tilt angle makes it possible to shoot comfortably from different angles. The presence of the RAW format is the subsequent processing of the image with the ability to change the exposure, white balance and many other settings in the ViewNX editor, which can be downloaded from the disk included in the accessories package when buying.The photos are excellent, even if you have never photographed before. At the same time, there are manual settings with which you have unlimited possibilities for creativity. There are also many additional bonuses: Wi-Fi, GPS. With the help of GPS, you will know the exact coordinates of the image: longitude and width, as well as height above sea level. With this camera, you can shoot video with Full HD quality (50/60 frames / s at a resolution of 1280x720, 50/60 frames / s at a resolution of 1920x1080).

I advise you to buy it for everyone for whom photography takes up a significant part of your life, but you are not a pro yet. Its price is an order of magnitude lower than professional cameras, but see for yourself the quality. Here are some photos taken by me with this photo app.

I recently purchased such a device. Both professionals and beginners will appreciate it. I was very satisfied. The photos are of high quality, a good zoom and I bought it at a very attractive price?Focusing at the highest level. Built-in flash, reducing the "red-eye effect". Also support PictBridge, ExifPrint. There is noise suppression, histogram display. The battery keeps charging for a long time. Externally, the Nikon D5300 is extremely similar to the D5200.

I want to share with you my impressions of the SLR camera. This is my first SLR camera, I made the choice myself (I'm a beginner and I don't understand much). I didn't make the decision right away, I watched the videos and compared the characteristics of different cameras. I was attracted first of all by the rotary display in some models this function is missing. Also, the characteristics of the d5200 differed for the better, but slightly less than that of the d5500. Prices in all stores jumped from 26,000 to 50,000 and above, I took 34,000 for booking in an online store. Arriving at the store, the consultant checked the camera as there were doubts that it could be restored. I bought it with a 55m whale lens. I am satisfied with the quality of the pictures, it remains only to fully understand the manual settings and get a better lens. The videos are in good quality, they were shot for youtube and everyone liked it. For a beginner, a clear option, it is convenient to hold in your hand! I am very happy with the purchase!
