Canon IXUS 160 is an excellent camera for a good valuable one.

My "imprinter" of happy moments in the New Year was the Canon IXUS 160 digital camera.

General Characteristics 20 MB, compact (92.5x54.3x21.1, weight 127 with battery), 8x magnification, Digic4+ processor, 2.7-inch screen. There are many different modes.

In the "Low Light" mode, it takes excellent pictures in complete darkness.

At 8x magnification, good shots are also obtained.

Clear menu. I managed to figure it out and get the hang of it in one evening.

There is a "Video" button. There is no need to switch through the menu, but just click on the button and it will shoot a video. Video in two formats 640x480 (SD) and 1280x720 (HD). In the settings when photographing, you can select the Wide-screen format. shooting. It is for display on HD high definition TV, its size is 5152x2896. Photos in this format on plasma look like candy. Now we prefer to watch photos on TV via a USB stick. There is no one to wear glasses.

Of the minuses, I note that there is no printed instruction, but it is easy to find on the Internet. For me, the disadvantage is that it runs on a battery.It is easier for me to take spare batteries and be sure that there will be no problems.

In general, I am happy with the purchase. Now all the happy moments of the family have been removed from us.
