Thanks to the camera, any shooting is a pleasure. A lot depends on technology. I used the camera several times.

Of course, habit and skill are needed. I try to gradually get used to and learn new things. The setup is intuitive in principle, if you have previously used some kind of SLR camera. Sharpness, zoom, mode settings yes, there are a sufficient number of buttons on it. I wouldn't call it easy. The weight is quite impressive. Charging lasts a long time. To store pictures, of course, you should use a memory card, since the built-in memory is very small.

Excellent SLR camera. suitable for the first serious camera and transition from the soap dish. At one time, it was considered a semi-professional camera, I shot a wedding on it for the first time for money. The device is suitable for girls, heavier than a soap dish, of course, but for a mirror device with such a level of photography, about 500 g is considered not heavy. All professionals or those who aspire to this level buy themselves either Canon or Nikon. Usually the third is not given. And on photo forums they argue to the point of stupefaction, which is better. Depends on your preferences. At one time, it cost under $ 1,000, and now you can buy it inexpensively and get excellent quality photos. Perfectly removes both day and evening. This is not a soap dish, this is a serious unit:

I want to dedicate this review to my Canon EOS 350D Kit 18-55 EF-S camera. I got it absolutely for nothing, 2-3 years ago, a photographer friend gave it to me, for him it was already useless, it had outlived its time, so to speak. Canon EOS 350D Digital is a digital SLR camera, was introduced in February 2005 and is aimed at amateur and novice photographers. The camera is quite heavy, about 500 g., but it is not always convenient to carry it with you. But the quality of the pictures it gives in comparison with conventional digital cameras, I had a Nikon before it, justifies all the shortcomings in its severity. He takes excellent photos both in sunny weather and in cloudy weather, outdoors and indoors. The best confirmation of my review can only be the photos taken.

Canon EOS 350D Kit 18-55 EF-S is a camera that has already become a classic, it is a classic, but it is not outdated. And I agree with it 200%. In 2006, a Japanese company released a very successful Canon Eos 350D camera. We can say a successful experimental instance. With the most correct ratio of the matrix and megapixels. I will note that I have never been a fan of the Canon brand and have always leaned more towards Sony. Therefore, I will not assert, despite all the assurances of fans of this brand, that Sapop is better in Sony color rendering, it is, as you know, the taste and color of what is not there. For example, I like Sony's flashy colors more, and someone likes more moderate ones that save the picture from noise from Canon. Yes, Sony's color rendering always hits the spot. Therefore, in order not to argue, it is better to buy both brands and immediately peace and quiet will come between fans to argue with fans. I note that if you oversaturate colors in Photoshop, namely with Canon Eos 350D, you will get a silkier and more flashy picture than any Sony. But with Sony noises, you will also have to sit in Photoshop and blur the picture a little. I still can't figure it out why the manufacturer can't find a middle ground and release the camera without the ambitions of the owners. I think this question is left for the future. And it's all left to marketing and experienced marketers. Color rendering is the only thing Sony has surpassed Canon Eos 350D. But now, I'm going to disappoint Sony fans. Color reproduction, alas, although not unimportant, but this is the only horse of Sony's superiority over Canon Eos 350D. So, what surpassed the Canon Eos 350D variant in my understanding.

Advantages of Canon EOS 350D Kit 18-55 EF-S

More delicate colors, pastel shades. However, this is for the taste of the photographer. But, the portraits turn out to be stunning. Noise, namely, the Canon Eos 350D surpassed Sony by 100% in terms of noise. Up to 800 ISO
you can shoot and not think about the noise, the picture really turns out glossy, airy, silk. I note that you can really shoot masterpieces with this camera, the masterpiece button is still found, but of course, with the ability to shoot correctly. Perhaps due to the reduction of pixels on the CROP matrix, the picture turns out to be soaring, artistic, not inferior in quality to even more expensive semi-professional Canon models. It is difficult to spoil the picture even with all the cursed whale lens. Complete with more expensive lenses of the naturally Japanese L series, you will get a picture no worse even than that of professional cameras of any flagship. I even tried to attach a Helios lens from an old Zenith to it. It turned out to be a picture worthy of exhibitions, if compared with the photos presented at many photo exhibitions. Very nimble, agile Canon EOS 350D Kit 18-55 EF-S camera, almost indestructible. I compared it with other cameras, newer ones, so it surpassed even all my expectations and even the semi-professional Canon Eos 7D camera stands aside and rests - I did not feel the advantages. And if we compare it with professional cameras, then excessive detail only kills art, so detail is good for reporting, shooting unexpected plots, incidents, landscapes, but not for creating canvases and masterpieces of portrait art, this does not work here. Girls sometimes want to see some veiling, understatement on photos, not excessive openness, accessibility. Fans of detail in photography, I hasten to disappoint. When I printed photos from two cameras 5 D MarK 2 and 350 D professional camera and amateur, I did not see the difference. But, if you print a photo from a 3-storey house, then you will naturally see the difference. Good Japanese build for 5+. Although plastic, but very durable, proven time. Suitable even for shooting weddings. The quality is admirable. The wedding people are happy. So, do not rush to say goodbye to the old cameras, they can still compete with the new ones 100% and even beat them in some ways. Perhaps, for me, these are the main advantages.

Disadvantages of Canon EOS 350D Kit 18-55 EF-S

Perhaps they are, like all cameras. The camera does not look as professional as my 30D, of course, magnesium alloy and weight is almost under a kilogram, or rather 700 grams without a battery, only a carcass. Leaves impressions. A small grip for the hand, probably, in an amateur camera, this is how it should be. The pasted not very high-quality coating has peeled off like an elastic band from the camera handle. This has never happened with Canon 30 D. There is no matrix cleaning system, but I note that this is not even in a professional 5 D, although, there the matrix sucks dust like a vacuum cleaner. As for the 350D, maybe - it depends on the build, but I cleaned the camera for everything the time is only 5 times, and I will not say that there was a lot of dust on the matrix. The main thing is not to remove it in very dusty places. Try to choose places that are cleaner, romantic, fabulous. There is no video mode, as a videographer I regret it a little. I would really like to experiment with video in the Canon Eos 350D DSLR. Perhaps that's all about the disadvantages.

Otherwise, the Canon EOS 350D Kit 18-55 EF-S camera can shoot and shoots very beautifully no worse than older competitors. I think the mad pursuit of extra megapixels is impractical. If consider it logically, in its technical aspects. Perhaps they are needed on professional cameras, for the sake of resolution and creating posters of huge sizes with a Full Frame matrix camera (Full frame). But, this one won't do experiment, if you have a cropped matrix, a small sensor - this will only create unnecessary hot pixels on your photo, if the megapixels go off scale, destroying the effect of the silkiness of the picture. And then it will make you sit in the photo editor for hours, wasting time already on blurring your photos. Therefore, if you really need photos the size of a house for work, then it is not worth much effort to buy an employer a camera with a full-frame matrix, for grandiose purposes. Although even there you will find noises, if you really pay attention to them. And more than once again remember your silent old man Canon 350D. And creating good photos with a blurred background-bokeh and highlighting the main object. All this is achievable and not only with L-series lenses. With the Canon 350D, I almost never sit in Photoshop, but only when I want to achieve Sony colors. And sometimes I just take my old Sony F 290 and just shoot it, for the sake of feeling the stormy colors. Therefore, I am completely satisfied with my photos from the Canon 350D. I shoot on Canon EOS 5D, 30D, 350D. All of them are made in Japan. And I didn't see much difference, but I recognized the authentic Canon pattern repeating everywhere. It's the same, you won't believe it, for all the cameras I used. And my friends don't see the difference either, probably it all depends on the glass you use. Therefore, the Canon EOS 350D is the camera that I won't part with for a very long time, because I don't see the point in it.

This model has been in my use for about ten years. They took it from the hands of a photographer friend. The camera has traveled half the world, still serves faithfully. It is convenient because it is small, you can take it with you without a special bag. I use portrait lenses, most often 50 mm, so it turns out tiny. I have a gray color - the paint peels off the case over time. Yes, you need to get used to a small screen compared to modern models of the line - but this is not a problem at all. Of course, the shutter sound is noisy, not fast, but this gives it a special charm. I think it makes no sense to say that this is a Crop factor, so be careful when choosing lenses, there will definitely be less space than on full-frame SLR cameras. I recommend a high-power glass. ISO is quite enough for ordinary needs, especially for portrait photography. if you really want - shooting in RAW + tripod and there are no problems. Over time - more than ten years, of course, the batteries run out - you can charge all night and the charge will last for several frames. But this is just a battery problem. The mileage of my camera is already very large, but it has never let me down. His price was average for his line - now it's Canon 500D, Canon 550D, Canon 600D for example. I really love this model. My works are in the review.

Today I'm just ripe for a review of my favorite SLR camera. Probably, it is no longer worth writing "favorite(s)" in each review, because I always try to write only good and warm reviews. Therefore, I am writing this review now. So, about a year ago, I first got acquainted with this lovely camera. I agree, the model is absolutely not new, it is one of the first SLR cameras, but this does not change the essence. I hope you will understand from my review. I was even a little surprised that there are no reviews for this camera. Let's get back to the acquaintance. This camera came to me from Canada - a gift for the New Year. Since then we have not been separated. By the way, for the American market it is called - Digital Rebel XT (aka 350D). I have the name of the American market, I think it's clear why. However, this does not change the essence. The main lenses I use are the first two. The only slight drawback for me is the small screen. In the photo I have English, but in the settings you can make Russian if that. In fact, this is my first SLR camera. I used to have this camera. I use the old camera now only for shooting videos, because there is no "video" mode in the DSLR. For me, this is irrelevant. For me, there were no difficulties in using it, at all. In operation, especially for a beginner, the camera is very light. There were no problems with focus. During the year of use, there have never been any difficulties. Now I am inseparable from the camera. The very first reviews I have with photos on an old camera, and now I do everything on this camera. So, first of all, my mirror is my faithful companion in life. I took about 10,000 photos in a year. I love taking pictures. Especially children and nature. To be honest, I mostly photograph with a Canon 50mm F/1.8 IS USM lens. Only because of the lack of zoom, sometimes you have to take a photo with a standard lens. As for the weight, of course, like any DSLR, it is heavy. I think I've already written a lot of things, I'd rather show you the photos. It will be "instead of a thousand words". Now you will hardly find such a camera in the store. Probably, you can meet it used. An ideal option for those who cannot afford to buy an expensive DSLR. And as a beginner, too. I don't plan to buy any new model, at least at the time of writing the review. There is no difference for me. I had a chance to compare photos taken with my camera and 600D. I didn't notice the difference. It's just more about the lens itself. I have not processed photos in any editors like Photoshop, avatar and others. I show them what they really are.
