A good camera. At least, as a beginner, I definitely liked him.

To begin with, if you linger on some function for a long time, it gives you hints and it's easy to turn them off, so it's mastered quickly. Hints are everywhere there, both in pictures and in words, and after watching a couple more videos, you can quickly use it to the fullest, on manual shooting.

Shoots in 4K without any problems, there is also RAW, in general, in my opinion, everything that is required and a little more. I take it on trips and for walks - it's really good, even if you need to take a picture of something quickly, since the activation happens quickly, without lengthy downloads, like some cameras.

I have an 18-55 lens for it, which, I must say, is also not bad, although one should not expect "super-duper-duper" versatility from it. It's not a wide-angle lens, but it's not a portrait lens either. In general, an average person who is quite suitable for travelers, as in my case. There were no glitches/ crashes / breakdowns during the entire period of use.

Of the disadvantages, I can only note the not too perfect color saturation of the photos. But this is already a problem for many cameras. And the price.

I wanted a good semi-professional camera for a long time. I once had a Canon 600D, and I wanted to find something similar, but already better. Because the new cameras of this company in the budget segment, to put it mildly, are not very. It seems that time is going forward, and not backward, but for some reason, the cameras are now being produced worse than they were before. And, lo and behold, my choice fell on this miracle, namely the Canon 200D. I took it a year ago for 22,000 money with an official guarantee. The official warranty is an important argument when buying this equipment. Without it, the price of this device is almost half less. Not cheap, but not expensive either.

Canon EOS 200D pros:

1. Simply amazing design. I have it in white. The camera itself is very compact and beautiful. Comfortable to hold in your hand. It's not a shame to "show". Easy. It is very easy to carry.
2. It has a rotary display. This is a very cool thing. The display is touch-sensitive. And, I really like it, because you can configure or switch something very quickly. It has two menus, regular or simplified for dummies, with hints.
3. The color reproduction is simply gorgeous. The colors are transmitted as I see. Everything is as it is. The brightness and color are excellent. I practically do not do color correction and do not process photos after shooting. The slightest adjustments. It's just space.
4. Wi-fi connection. I take pictures on my phone, it's very convenient.
5. The video shoots in HD quality, you can set different focus, reacts quickly and focuses easily. You can set a constant focus on the object. I shoot a video with Barbie dolls for my YouTube channel, and the camera copes with it easily. The video quality is great. The video can be processed in the camera itself, edited, cut. In general, a cool chip, but thinks for a long time if you cut. I was dealing with it. So I don't really use it.
6. A wheel with different modes, on P, for example, I set the desired brightness, contrast, light, iso, and so on, it was P that I chose for the subject shooting. Since I make handmade jewelry, I bought a camera specifically for my creative work. He does everything with a bang. There are cool different modes that you can write a lot about. The night shooting mode was very pleased. The colors are not blurred, the contours of the object are clear. There is almost no noise. Ah, the macro lets you down a little, I want to get closer, closer, but apparently it depends on the lens. But for some reason, the 600d macro did kind of better with the same whale 18-55. Well, what can I do. It is necessary to study.

Canon EOS 200D cons:

1. It happens to be buggy. There were a couple of times that I wanted to delete a photo, but there was supposedly a card protection, a key on it, and until I pulled out the battery two times, nothing happened, and the word Protection shone. Oh, and somehow I found out that some photos were deleted. Themselves. It was a shame. After all, when I could still take a picture of the red moon, at night, which sets in the sea.. There was a photo, and there isn't one. Only I have access to the camera. That was such an oddity. The lesson for me now is not to take one photo, but ten pieces at once.
2. The battery is weak. This is a fact. The second one is needed. But I have not yet got into such situations with him that he sat down right quickly after the video and photo. On my last breath, I took a lot of photos surprisingly.
3. The interface is user-friendly. Everything is on the level. Everything is easy. Canon is Canon. See the photo, draw conclusions.

Personally, I am very happy with this camera and recommend it for purchase. Five points. I love my camera.

Today I want to tell you about my brand new Canon 200D SLR camera.

I approached the choice of the camera very carefully, watched video reviews, read reviews, compared characteristics, as a result, the choice fell on this model. It is endowed with all the functions that I wanted to see in my camera.

Namely, a 25.8 MP matrix (APS-C), Full HD video shooting,
3" rotary touch screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 500g weight, capacious battery.

The model is available in three colors, white, silver, black. I just want to draw your attention to the fact that black, in stores, costs a couple of thousand cheaper than the rest, and it's not for nothing, their lenses lack a stabilizer, so be careful.

I want to say right away that I am not a professional photographer, so the review will be rather amateur, I just love a high-quality picture that is pleasing to the eye. After all, no matter how mobile phones and cameras built into them have progressed, they will never be able to compare even with such, far from super professional equipment.

It was not available in the stores of the city, and I made an order on the DNS website. The price there was the most favorable, plus 3000 bonuses were accrued from the purchase, which can be paid up to 100%. After 3 days, the camera was already in my hands. The price is 37,999 money.

There are not very many disadvantages of the camera, but still they are there. A sore topic is autofocus in low light. as soon as the camera does not have enough light, it goes blind, and focuses objects for a long time and sometimes not accurately. Otherwise, I liked everything, I make high-quality photos and have fun.

I remind you that in order to see the photo in the best quality, you need to poke it. While the camera lives with me for only a week, and I hope that in the future I will fully explore all its possibilities and the result will please me, and you, much more. In the meantime, all the best, warmth and good mood.

I have been working in the field of photography for many years and mainly with the Canon system. This has been the case since the very beginning of my transition from film to digital format. I had a chance to shoot with different camera lines, from a simple amateur to a pro.

But before, I did not shoot on mirror babies of the 100 D series. When the 200 D camera came out, the "magic" Japanese, surprisingly, were not greedy to stick a new autofocus in it, despite the fact that it is classified as a simple amateur camera. This basically became the main factor in my purchase.

After conducting a comparative analysis of the characteristics, I decided to buy it, primarily for video shooting, since the new Dual Pixel autofocus, in a camera with such a price range, is just a miracle.

But when buying 200D, we need to understand that we certainly won't see an absolute miracle for such a price.

Using this camera, I made conclusions for myself, which I will share with you.

Advantages of the camera:

1. Small and light for the DSLR.
2. A very convenient folding screen, which allows you to shoot videos from different, absolutely fantastic angles, for example - very high from above using a lightweight monopod and strongly from below - directly from the ground, without lying down and not dirtying things.
3. Very good autofocus in video mode and in photos on the screen in Live Wiew.
4. A convenient touch screen through which to indicate the focus point just spit and it holds the focus confidently without straying, when adjusting to the face.
5. Good built-in flash and Wi-Fi.
6. Convenient classic Canon menu, familiar to work.

Minuses:

1. A small battery, but by the way it lasts quite a long time when working without a screen.
2. A slot for a USB flash drive in the battery compartment, which is not convenient when working with a tripod.
3. There is no 4K format, but it's not harmful to dream for such a price.

Three reasons for my choice of this camera:

1. Small for a DSLR and very light, easy to carry.
2. Excellent autofocus, for such a price, just class.
3. Very convenient and comfortable to work with, it lies clearly in your hand despite the small size.

Conclusions: For amateur shooting - just a great camera, the price and quality are ideal. For the pros, of course, it's weak, but for video and as a spare second camera, it's quite suitable.

This is a SLR camera, here are some characteristics from the manufacturer:

Weight 453 g
Battery type LP-E17
Support SDHC, SD, DSXC memory cards
Wireless connection Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth
JPEG, RAW image formats
Luminosities 4-5,6
Focal length 18-55

Naturally, this is not all of its characteristics, I have listed only a few.

The kit included a lens cap, a belt, a software disc, a battery with a charger.

I had to order a new cover on Aliexpress, since the existing one was not attached to the camera in any way. I ordered a lid with a hole for a thin string, which I then tied to the main strap – so there is no need to be afraid that I will put it somewhere or drop it and lose it.

As for the battery, it is enough for about 800 photos. It charges quickly, about two hours.

The camera itself has a convenient intuitive interface. The screen rotates easily and conveniently. Communication with the phone is via Wi-Fi, NFC or Bluetooth, very convenient.

This is briefly what concerned the technical characteristics. There are no complaints about them. Now it's about the quality of the shooting.

I must say right away, the camera disappointed me a little. Maybe it's my own fault. This is my first DSLR, and I was probably subconsciously waiting for a miracle from it. Before that, I had been photographing with a Sony DSC-H2 digital camera for 13 years and was very pleased. But I wanted a mirror. To fully take photos in manual mode, take creative photos, play with light and shadow, contrast and frame depth. I really like photographing people, I'm objectively good at portraits, so I rolled out my lip.

In the end, what do we have with the Canon 200D:

This is not a sweeper. No, you will be able to photograph people, and they will even turn out well, but, for example, you will not get a classic "bokeh".
This is not a macro lens. Generally. From the word at all. Say goodbye and forget.
Reportage shooting indoors, and even if the objects are moving fast. Calm down, put down the camera and just enjoy the performance.
"Catch" a bird on a branch in the frame. Turn on the "come closer and jump" mode, because the 55 mm zoom is a laugh and nothing more.
I repeat, this is all my purely personal opinion, very much depending on the comparison with my previous camera. When I have been photographing with a 72 mm zoom for many years, 55 seems to be a sophisticated mockery, and the aperture of 4 makes me want to bang my head against the wall and carry the camera back to the store.

The reason for buying the camera. The answers are banal. Firstly, what the accumulated money was enough for, I bought it, I don't take loans on principle. Secondly, oddly enough, I had no idea about such a parameter as the aperture. I'm not a professional photographer, I'm just an ordinary amateur and everything was fine with me in the previous camera, there was 2.8 aperture and it was enough for everything. When I started using Canon and realized that something was wrong, something was not working at all, I began to understand, read, study, compare. That's when I grabbed my head. I looked at the prices of high-power lenses, hiccuped nervously and decided to play with what I have, since I pulled out such a card.

So, the Canon EOS 200D is a normal universal camera for not particularly demanding amateurs. It is good to travel with him, take pictures of landscapes, take family photos in nature and near historical attractions, take pictures of pets and flowers, without requiring drawing each leaf and blurring the background.

If you use a tripod, you can get interesting photos. I'll talk about them in another article when I talk about the tripod I bought.

What else can I say. In auto mode, the photos are quite acceptable. However, I don't understand why a camera is needed then. Now most phones allow you to get pictures no worse and cost less or the same. I bought my old camera back in 2006, when phones (not even smartphones yet!) they had cameras of 1.3 megapixels, so a camera of 6 megapixels was considered cool and, of course, was needed to get good photos, if you want, write in the comments, I will make a review of it with photos. Does it make sense now to spend money on photographic equipment of such a level as the Canon 200D – I honestly don't know. Only, probably, for such ignoramuses and hurriers like me. Although after all, before buying, I read reviews on different sites for a long time and chose for a long time. However, for the money that I had, the choice was really small.

I tried reportage shooting at school at a matinee with my second-grader son. It turned out to be outright nonsense in terms of the quality of the pictures.

There is not enough light, I had to open the aperture to the maximum. Nimble eight-year-olds are worn like crazy. In order to catch them in the frame without blurring, I set the shutter speed to 1/256. You do the shutter speed a little longer – it's already blurred. Due to insufficient lighting, I unscrewed the ISO to 3200 and got a rather tangible "grain". And if you do ISO less, it turns out dark. So you have to balance between shutter speed, aperture and ISO and swear at yourself and the camera.

The photos turned out to be quite good in frame construction – that is, I kept up with the rapidly changing scenes of dancers, athletes, etc., but the quality. Alas, such photos are suitable only for posting on the Internet and, at most, for printing 10 * 15 in a family album.

By the way, indoors (meaning at home, with home lighting, not in the studio), photos are generally weak, even if people sit quietly and pose on purpose. And except in auto mode, it's better not to try at all. At least, I still can't make the frame better in manual mode than in auto.
In general, I am disappointed with this camera and myself. Either my requests are higher than the Ostankino TV Tower, or the camera is frankly weak. Most likely, both.

On the Internet you can find many of its reviews and descriptions, this model, released back in 2017, has already been examined in detail from all sides, Google, read.

On my own, I will add that if you need photos for a family album and posting on social networks, then this camera will be more than enough for you. But, on the other hand, then why do you need a mirror. To take photos in auto mode. It's like hammering nails with a microscope. Absolutely not rational. For this, the phone will do.

If you want to shoot creative shots, it's better to save up money and buy a normal high-power equipment exactly for your needs, portrait, macro, tele-lens, etc., and do not waste money in vain. However, if money is not a problem for you, then you can take this device as a "camera of the first purchase", play around with it, and then move on to more serious things.

That's all, probably. In my opinion, it turned out a little messy. I do not pretend to be true in any way, I just share my thoughts and impressions. Perhaps something will seem silly and funny to you, I fully admit that it is and I'm not going to argue.

I put 4 "stars" on the camera precisely because of the weak aperture and frankly reduced zoom. There are no complaints about the rest.

I didn't think I would write reviews, but I decided. So: in 2018, just before the New Year, I bought a CANON EOS 200D DSLR. When buying a camera in a box, there was a free Internet course for a period of 30 days of training to work with this unit, which I was happy to use. About the camera itself. I was lucky, the black version has a lens with a stabilizer. Since there was no experience working with mirrors, and I really wanted to learn how to shoot, I had to learn. Plus, online courses helped. I will also tell you about the quality of the photo - it suits me completely. And working with this camera is a pleasure for beginners. Next, photos taken specifically by Canon EOS 200D. The transfer of photos from the camera to the smartphone is possible via Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi. For me personally, the most convenient way to transfer is NFC. 100 photos from a camera to a phone in a minute is not a problem at all. I do not regret that I purchased this product.
